That's a Wrap!

It’s true that time flies when you’re having fun and it’s hard to believe that X Games 18 wrapped up on Sunday!

The PUMA team had a great time in Los Angeles. From the Ping Pong tournaments and live DJ’s at the social truck in X Fest to the cosmic bowling and driver meet and greets at the Lucky Strike Lounge, PUMA was front and center and having fun at X Games all four days.

Saturday was a huge day for PUMA Rallycross driver Bucky Lasek as he took the silver medal in the Skate Vert competition and 15 lucky fans had the chance to join us in the Lucky Strike Lounge for a VIP viewing party to cheer Bucky on.

The Rallycross event was one of the last events to go down at X Games, but also one of the most anticipated. The sun was shining and the stands were packed as fans cheered on their favorite action sports stars.

Heat 3 was arguably the most exciting race of the day, as Sverre Isachsen demonstrated why he’s a Rallycross champ, finishing first in his heat and earning a direct transfer to the final round.

The PUMA team faced some challenges with the cars, as Dave Mirra suffered a wreck in the first round and his car never recovered. After the incredible effort in Round 1, Sverre Isachsen was driven into the wall in the final round. Neither were able to finish the race.

Defending 2011 Rally America Champion David Higgins, a late addition to the Subaru PUMA Rallycross team, finished the day in 7th place.

The Subaru PUMA Rallycross team will be back in action on July 14th for Round 4 of GRC at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Check back for more details as our journey continues.
