#MatchMonday: Sergio Agüero Steals the Show (Again!)

  • Written on:

PUMA Football star Sergio Agüero produced another vintage performance over the weekend as his side saw off Norwich 5-1 to maintain their 100% home record in the Premiership.

After coming close on a couple of occasions the Argentine ace opened the scoring on 32 minutes, after he turned the visiting defence and stabbed the ball through a crowd of legs as the home fans danced the Poznan!

From that moment onwards the home side seemed in control with Agüero and Yaya Touré pulling the strings with a combination of pace, poise, and vision - and it came as no surprise when they further extended their lead after 51 and then 68 minutes. After the third goal and with victory nearly assured, Agüero was taken off to a standing ovation from the home fans having impressed once again.

But there was still more drama as the visitors pulled a goal back, before City struck twice more to make the score 5-1 as they maintained their lead at the top of the table.

Although Agüero was substituted with 18 minutes remaining, Sergio stole the show! The Argentine has been a revelation since signing and his strike was number 13 for the season in what has been a fantastic start to his career in Manchester.

Will Sergio lead his side to glory this season?
