Introducing the New PUMA Rugby Range...

We all know rugby is a passionate game.

Putting your body on the line, supporting your teammates and giving your all for the cause are everything. There are no half measures – which is where PUMA’s rugby range comes in!

To celebrate rugby’s biggest tournament we’ve created a range where evolution meets technology. It includes the IRFU World Cup shirt, shorts and socks, as well as a World Cup Presentation Jacket and Woven pants.

But we’re making a big impact all over the field thanks to the innovative PowerCat 1.12 Union ball, V1.11 PowerCat boots and the debut of PUMA’s Ireland home shirt:

The PowerCat 1.12 ball has been playtested at international level to ensure it meets all the requirements of world class rugby. It features PUMA’s unique weight balance system to provide perfect ball flight stability and increased kicking distance. The multi-layer polymer construction gives excellent shape retention and minimises water uptake to tackle the toughest playing conditions.

The V1.11 PowerCat boots will have you eating up the ground faster than Shane Williams on a cold day in Cardiff! They are made up of an ultra-light microfiber upper material, whilst the one-piece outsole gives ultimate stability and support, utilising a carbon fibre plate in the forefoot to reduce weight and increase reactivity in the flex area – allowing you the confidence to be your fastest.

The IRFU World Cup shirt stands out from the crowd immediately with its unique light reactive reflective print and gel catchment ‘Anti-spill’ chest plates to enable better handling. The shirt also features 4-Way Stretch Bonded Nylon Shell Fabric and moisture wick technology to keep performance going at the highest level.

PUMA will also be well represented on the terraces thanks to the specially designed range for Irish fans made up of the Supporter Collection Track Jacket and Classic Rugby Jersey.

The PUMA Rugby range will take centre stage in New Zealand, kicking-off on the 9th September.
