Do You Know The Rules of Play?

After Hours Athletes aren’t hard to spot in a crowd.

They’re the ones who know the rules of play, and make them a way of nightlife. They can tell you the proper way to bowl a strike (steady wrists, my friends), the most effective foosball defense strategies, and the ultimate way to mix a Gin and Tonic, or as we call it, a Gym and Tonic.

What are the rules of play, you ask?  Some of our favorites include:

  • Know your position on the field: The band hasn’t even finished setting up and you’ve already staked out a prime position on the dance floor. You also might have a mental map of the best spot to catch the bartender’s attention at all of your favorite haunts.
  • Practice makes perfect: Whether it's a ping pong backhand or a bacon sandwich eating contest...practice is the path to victory.
  • There’s no “I” in Team: After Hours Athletes are always loyal to their teammates and never leave a comrade in trouble - no matter the personal sacrifice. Like the time you let your locked-out buddy crash on your couch at 4am, despite your 5am wake-up call? That’s loyalty.
  • You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take: You’ll sleep when you’re dead. Plus hanging out until the lights go on ensures way better access to the cute bartender. Oh, did you think we were talking about hockey?

So, come on and tell us, what rules are in your after hours play book?
