Last night, Usain Bolt unveiled his custom designed Paris singlet and spikes at the Courir Store in Paris.  Bolt will wear the Paris uniform in the 100m race at the Meeting AREVA Diamond League event tonight. The uniform was designed by Parisian artist, Veenom, and features elements of both Parisian and Jamaican culture.

"It's wonderful. I really like it. I'm going to be the best looking guy out there tomorrow," said Bolt. "The lion on the front is an iconic symbol of Jamaican culture, and the Eiffel Tower on the back is obviously so important to Paris. I'm looking forward to running in it tomorrow."

At Bolt's request, PUMA has arranged for local artists to design custom singlets in further Diamond League events that Bolt will compete in during the 2010 season. These singlets will fuse Jamaican cultural elements also featured in the Bolt Collection along with symbols synonymous with the host cities.

After unveiling the uniform, Bolt hurried over to the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville where he launched the Jamaica Party! Thousands of fans gathered as the World's Fastest Man mixed some music and introduced a free concert featuring guests: Irma, Jaqee, Winston McAnuff, and Alpha Blondy!
