Whether you’re heading to your local or tripping the light fantastic at your nearest PUMA Social hangout, making an impact is always high on the agenda for the true After Hours Athlete. Here are our insider tips to put even The Artist Formerly Known As Puff Daddy Diddy in the shade:
Dress to impress You’re never likely to be noticed or taken seriously if you turn up looking like a scruff. 77.7% of women will judge a man on his shoes when meeting for the first time.* It is for this very reason one must always ensure one’s shoes match one’s outfit! If you need a new pair you can always check out the PUMA store and see if anything tickles your fancy ;)

Be fashionably late Whether you’re one of those people who likes to be on time for everything or not, it’s imperative that you aren’t the eager beaver who turns up first when meeting friends. There is nothing worse than sitting around like Johnny no-mates, waiting for your friends to turn up. Aim to make a slightly late arrival so that the red carpet can be unfurled in your honour and you receive a welcoming party befitting of the debonair After Hours Athlete that you are.
Be on top form Everyone enjoys a joke so be sure your banter is on top form. We aren’t advocating being cruel to your peers, but the odd bit of social mockery often goes down a storm, so always look for the quick laugh or one liner and take centre stage from the off.
Be an innovator Be the fun and games facilitator. Whether this involves being the first on the dance floor or even just being the first to rack up the pool table, get your fellow After Hours Athletes into the PUMA Social spirit. Warning: Know your limits and stick to what you’re good at - Only contemplate the dance floor if you are either a) capable of throwing some decent shapes (Robot, Moonwalk, Thunderclap etc.) or b) sufficiently merry.
How do you like to make an entrance?!
