His full name is Radamel Falcao García Zárate, but he prefers to be known as simply Falcao, as that part of his name was given in celebration of the great Brazilian of the same name.

In 2006 he suffered a career-threatening injury when he ruptured his Cruciate Ligament, 8 months later he was back and scoring.

Colombia's most famous current player, he has scored 10 goals in 32 games for the national team.

In his last 18 games in European competition, he has scored 19 goals. Which is just silly.

He scored six goals in his first four matches for his new club side in Spain's top flight, and has 17 in total to date making the €40m transfer fee look an absolute steal.
