PUMA Athletes Delilah DiCrescenzo, Derek Scott, and Jermaine Gonzales all raced last weekend.  Read on to see how they did and to watch post-race interviews with Delilah and Derek!

Delilah DiCresenzo Finishes 12th at NYRR Mini 10K

Delilah DiCrescenzo made her debut in the 10K at the NYRR Mini 10K this past weekend on Saturday, June 12.  The New York based runner ran a 33:38, placing 12th overall (2nd American finisher).  Normally a Steeplechase superstar, Delilah is trying out new events right now and will be competing in the 5K at 2010 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on June 23-24.

Derek Scott Places First in 1500m at AMC Meet

On Sunday, June 13, the 2010 PUMA Mile Champion, Derek Scott, participated in the 1500m in the American Milers Club High Performance Series at Famed Carroll Stadium in Indianapolis, IN. Due to a long rain delay in Indy, Derek did not start the race until 2AM, but he finished first in 3:42! In good spirits, Derek spoke with FloTrack after the race about how things have been since winning the PUMA Mile:

Jermaine Gonzales Places First in 400m and Sets Personal Best in Sotteville

At the 2nd meeting of Alma Athlé Tour circuit in Sotteville-les-Rouen, France on Saturday, June 12, Jermaine Gonzales took first place in the 400m with a time of 44.79. This was a new personal best for the Jamaican sprinter and is the third fastest time run this year! Gonzales was pleased with the result as he was determined to break his personal best (formerly 44.85, set in 2006).
