2011 has been an amazing year for PUMA Football! With loads of goals, skills and magical moments from Sergio Agüero, Cesc Fàbregas, Yaya Touré, Falcão, Mario Gomez, Samuel Eto’o and Thierry Henry to name a few, we’d like to know who you, the fans of Team PUMA, think should be our Player of 2011?!

In order to make things easier, we’ve put together this handy little guide looking at some of the top players over the past 12 months!

To kick things off, let’s start in Manchester where Sergio Agüero and Yaya Touré have continually run the show for their club and let’s be honest, this pairing are one of the main reasons their side top the Premiership! Hot on their heels are city rivals United – and PUMA trio Phil Jones, Michael Carrick and Nemanja Vidić have been on exceptional form for the Red Devils. Jones in particular has effortlessly made the step up to the international stage; making him a strong candidate for the award!

We all know a goal-scorer is worth their weight in gold and scoring sensations Samuel Eto’o, Falcão, Loic Remy and Thierry Henry have set their respective leagues alight - and can rightfully lay claim for the PUMA Player of 2011 award! A special mention must also go to defensive lynchpins Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini who not only guided the Azzurri to the Euros, but their club to the top of Serie A with some outstanding performances.

In La Liga, Spanish sensation Cesc Fàbregas finally returned to his boyhood heroes this summer and he has led the line superbly for the Catalan giants, culminating in a fantastic goal in the recent El Clasico match, as well as scoring and leading his side to Club World Cup success!

Continuing on the European front, Super Mario Gomez, Seydou Doumbia, Alexander Frei and Bafétimbi Gomis deserve huge credit for topping the Champions League scoring charts with their lethal finishing.

Back in the UK, Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky, Johan Djourou and Bacary Sagna have all impressed as their side mount a serious challenge both at home and in the Champions League. Peter Crouch has also caught the eye with some impressive performances in his sides first ever Europa League adventure in what promises to be an exciting season for Crouchy!

With so many stars to choose, who do you think deserves the title of PUMA Player of 2011?
