This weekend saw a selection of exciting and shock results happen across Europe. Check out our round up below for a review of the top PUMA Football action.

Remy fires his team to surprise win
Marseille 3 – 0 Paris St Germain
This weekend saw Löic Rémy and his Marseille team take on a Paris St Germain team who are heavily tipped for the title. After starting the season in a rich vein of form, it took only 9 minutes for Löic Rémy to add to his tally for the season and grab his 7th goal. His goal came as the Marseille right back burst down the right flank, whipped a cross into the box, only for Rémy to leap the highest and glance the ball passed the sprawling keeper. From here, Marseille never looked back and went onto score another two goals.

Spurs go unbeaten in 10
West Brom 1 – 3 Spurs
Spurs once again showed this weekend why they are one of the most in-form teams in the English Premier League. This 3-1 victory against West Brom now takes them to 9 wins and 1 draw in their last 10 games. Firmly sat in 3rd position in the league and with a game in hand, Spurs look like serious contenders to take a top 2 spot. With 56% possession and 26 shots compared to West Brom’s 11, Spurs really looked clinical when going forward and on numerous occasions the attacking prowess of Adebayor, Defoe and Bale linked to provide West Brom with a number of headaches. With 2 goals from the Togo player Adebayor and a low drive from Jermain Defoe, Spurs definitely are a team riding the crest of a wave.

What do you think is the secret to Rémy’s goalscoring success? Can Spurs grab a top 2 place this year?
