#MatchMonday: Cesc Fires His Side to El Clasico Glory!

  • Written on:

This weekend the eyes of the world were once again fixed on the Spanish capital as this season’s first El Clasico fixture in La Liga kicked-off.

PUMA Football star Cesc Fàbregas in his PowerCat v1.12 FG boots led the line for the Catalan giants, however it was the home side who snatched the lead after just 23 seconds following the visiting keeper’s poor clearance from a back pass.

Despite going a goal down, Cesc and his teammates stuck to their ‘total football’ principles and were back on level terms after half an hour thanks to their star Chilean striker; who struck with a precise low finish into the corner.

In the second-half, lady luck was on the visitor’s side and they took the lead courtesy of a long distance strike that took a cruel ricochet off a home defender to put the Catalan side ahead – and send the 700 travelling fans wild!

On 66 minutes Fàbregas got the goal his fantastic performance deserved with a bullet header after an inviting cross from the right. Cesc and his teammates were in the ascendency for the remainder of the game and held on to record an important and stylish victory.
