International Preview

This weekend sees another round of exciting international fixtures with European Championship and African Cup of Nations qualification at stake for many PUMA teams! We want to know which games you’ll be watching and more importantly, what the score line is going to be!

To help make your predictions that little bit easier, we’ve put together a preview of the big games:

Cameroon & Senegal
This mouth-watering clash throws together two giants of African football. Senegal currently lead the charge in their group for African Nations Cup qualification and will be looking to add to their impressive tally of 9 points. However, the hosts welcome back PUMA Football star Samuel Eto’o to the fold - so it’s sure to be a close came between the Indomitable and Teranga Lions!

The Black Stars have a fantastic opportunity to extend their lead at the top of Group I. Coach Goran Stevanovic will be hoping his side can produce another virtuoso performance against Congo – having beaten them 3-0 back in March. In contrast the Congolese team will be looking to make up for that drubbing, but we’re tipping Ghana to have too much for them over 90 minutes. Do you think the Black Cats will come away with all 3 points?

The table topping Azzuri play host to Estonia in what is sure to be a tough game in Modena. PUMA Football stars Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini are expected to start as the Italians look to build upon their impressive defensive displays in the qualifiers. History is certainly on the side of the Italians who have won the last five games against the enterprising Estonians – scoring 15 goals in the process. With home advantage on their side, we’re backing the Italians – are you?

The Swiss travel to the home of football as they take on an England side packed full of Premiership stars. The visitors will look to keep things tight and are expected to adopt a 4-5-1 formation and hit their hosts on the break. Switzerland have not beaten England in more than 30 years – but football’s a funny old game! There could be an upset on the cards.
