The USA will face Japan on Sunday in what is being billed as the game’s most exciting World Cup final since the women’s tournament was created. A global audience, expected to be in the hundreds of millions will be fixed to their screens as the USA look for a record-breaking third World Cup victory against a Japanese side that have made outstanding progress.

The USA squad have shown great resilience over the past 18 months including a playoff victory over Italy to reach the World Cup, recovering from a defeat to Sweden in the group stages and the fantastic team spirit which forced a late equaliser against Brazil. The team’s famous work ethic, commitment and determination, personified by PUMA Football star Amy Rodriguez has led the USA to being just 90 minutes away from glory.

Japan have enjoyed an incredible tournament so far and their quick, counter-attacking football has won many plaudits and blown teams away en route to Sunday’s final. It’s sure to be a feast of football!
